Here are 4 ways that Heaven will differ from earth:

  1. It will be the end of pain, suffering, and death – This is huge for us. The world as we know it today has been filled with pain, suffering, and death because of sin entering the world. One day it will all be over and God’s children will go to live with Him in Heaven for all of eternity. In Heaven there will be  nothing but constant life in all of our days. Revelation 21:4, He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will no longer exist; grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer, because the previous things have passed away.”
  2. No more sin – How wonderful will this be!? It will be the end of our struggle with our flesh. We will live in complete perfection where our flesh can no longer get in our way. It will no longer be able to interfere with the life we are meant to live and have in God. Sin will never be able to rob us ever again. John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
  3. We will have new bodies – For most people this is probably something that they look forward to. We will have a new body, free from any aliments of this present life. They will be perfect and glorified. How wonderful! No more pain, no more sickness, no more hurting EVER AGAIN! That is something to be excited about.
  4. Eternal Structures – Nothing in God’s Kingdom will ever fade away. They are eternal. Hebrews 11:10 says, “For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” I love that verse. Whose builder and Maker is GOD. God is eternal. He said that Heaven and earth shall pass away but HIS WORD shall not pass away. (Matthew 24:35)
