Most Christians believe in angels. Perhaps, you are one of them. Of course, even those who don’t claim to be Christians are more apt to believe in angels than not. According to this video published by BillsChannel, 8 out of every 10 people believe in the reality and presence of angels in our everyday lives. The video considers various stories about angels, while also looking at six facts about angels to help delve deeper into whether or not they are real.
The 9/11 Angels
The video starts off by talking about the presence of angels at the crash site on 9/11. The account regarding the presence of angels on that fateful day came from as reputable a source as you can imagine, former FBI officer Lillie Leonardi. Although she has since retired from her FBI job, primarily due to post traumatic stress, Lillie went on to write a book about her first-hand experience with angels the day of the 9/11 attacks. She has been criticized for her testimony many times yet has never refuted her claim that she did see legions of angels working during the tragedy.
Other Religions Believe In Angels
The video goes on to point out various other beliefs about angels and how they might contribute to their validity. For example, the video mentions the fact that many religions, not just Christianity, believes in angels, and the fact that there are many ancient drawings and manuscripts depicting angelic beings, along with additional beliefs about heavenly beings.
The Most Important Proof of All
While this video is entertaining, we must first look to the Bible to tell us whether or not something is in fact real. Therefore, let’s see what the Bible says about angels. Psalm 91:11, “For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” There you have it folks! We know angels exist because the Bible teaches us they do. Go ahead and watch the video, though, for more proof.
