Prayer. Some might think it antiquated. However, it is still the most powerful weapon we have against the evil in the world. It also happens to be our only way to communicate to our heavenly Father. Sometimes, though, being consistent in prayer can become difficult. After all, the fast pace of life can easily creep into your schedule, pushing prayer right out. Thankfully, there are some methods you can use to improve your prayer life.

Ways to Boost Your Prayer Life Through Being More Consistent

Schedule Your Prayer Time: Have you ever entered your prayer time into your smartphone calendar? If not, why? You schedule everything else, so why should your time with God be considered less important than your next checkup with the dermatologist? Simply scheduling your time with God will instantly make you more faithful in prayer.

Prayer doesn’t have to be at a certain time of day either, but in Mark 1:35, the Bible says early is the time Jesus used. The verse says, “Very early in the morning while it was still dark, Jesus got up left the house and went off to a solitary place, where He prayed.” If morning was good enough for Jesus, it’s hard to argue against it for us. After all, what better way to start your day?

Don’t Be Limited By Location: You can pray while cleaning, running, working out. Don’t limit yourself thinking prayer only counts if you are kneeled down at your bedside with your eyes tightly closed. The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians and Ephesians 6:18 it says Pray without ceasing…pray at all times and on every occasion…” This verse proves that we don’t have to be at a certain place or in a certain position to pray.
