An a cappella style of singing has a way of stripping the voice down to its most basic elements. In some cases, this can reveal deep, rich undertones and harmonic melodies that music would simply hide. It is this type of a cappella that the group The Ball Brothers has perfected.

More About The Ball Brother Group

The group is made up two brothers, Daniel and Andrew Ball, their brother-in-law Chad Mcloskey and close friend Jon Epley. This close knit group, who travels worldwide wowing audiences with their ability to harmonize, specializes in singing Christian and gospel songs.

The Ball Brothers Always Impress, Even When Practicing

Even though this group is made up of only four voices, they somehow make it seem as if you are listening to a whole choir of different voices. They go beyond simply singing these songs as they were originally written and move into all sorts of unique arrangements that gives the lyrics new life and the notes even more range and depth.

Because the Bell Group is a cappella, they don’t have to go to a studio or need sound equipment to practice. However, they do need a room with great acoustics and space. They recently found themselves rehearsing/warming up in a gym at their motel when they decided to video their practice to see what fans thought. They were debating performing the song “I Shall Know Him” at a gig later that night and wanted to work out all the kinks.

To say this impromptu performance was well received would be a vast understatement. After posting the video on their Facebook page, the song quickly rose to over 3.2 million views. The group’s rendition of the beloved gospel song is breathtakingly beautiful. You simply must hear it yourself to understand the immense talent this group possesses. Warning, you will get goose bumps!
