When Mary arrived at Jesus’ tomb after his crucifixion, she was surprised to find it empty. Jesus had kept his word and on the third day, he arose from the grave! On a recent trip to Jerusalem, this group took a moment to minister to the LORD singingYou have won the victory-The Anthem by William Murphy.

Jerusalem is the home to the garden tomb where many believe Jesus was buried. Every year people gather in this garden in order to worship and express their gratitude because they love Jesus and because the tomb is empty! In this video, a group visiting Israel takes the time to have an impromptu time of worship just to celebrate the Lord of lords and the King of kings, Jesus the Christ. What started out as a group sing-along of a song of reverence where the participants glorify God for winning the victory, soon became a worship service. Some of the words in this song include the phrase ‘Death could not hold you down.’ This is a beautiful rendition and at one point a soloist takes on the worship alone.

The garden tomb which recently underwent a $4 million restoration, is considered by many visitors and residents, to be one of the most precious of all of the special places relating to the New Testament and Jesus’ ministry during his time on earth. Yes, it is truly a place of celebration. We cry Hallelujah because he has not only won the victory, but He has done it all for us. This is the perfect place to lift his name on high. You can’t help but be touched as this group of Christians pour out their hearts to the Most High God! It is so exciting to hear them celebrating the Risen King who is now seated in majesty, still alive and interceding for us day and night.
